Tottenham told to ‘cut ties’ with ‘poisonous’ Ndombele after source’s update today – pundit
Noel Whelan has suggested the Tottenham changing room could become “poisonous” if Tanguy Ndombele does not move this month.
The former Leeds striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted Spurs need to do everything they can to offload the 25-year-old.
A Spurs source has told Football Insider today the club are in negotiations with PSG over a potential loan move, while Ndombele has other options on the table.

Stumbling blocks include the percentage of Ndombele’s £200,000-a-week wages that will be paid during the loan and if there will be a purchase clause included.
Whelan suggested Spurs would probably rather a permanent deal.
However, he admitted even a loan move would be beneficial behind the scenes.
Whelan told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “They want to get him off their books as quickly as possible. I don’t think they want to keep them affiliated to the club, if I’m going to be brutally honest.
“They would much prefer to cut the ties, let him go to someone else and they deal with Ndombele. It’s one of those predicaments where they want the cash in so they can spend it wisely on what they want.
“They certainly need to get him out of the door as quickly as possible. Keep him and it might end up a little bit poisonous.
“I think a loan is safe, it’s safer for PSG. They’re going to get a better player. He just wasn’t the right player for Tottenham with the attitude they desire.
“He might be different back home in France. I think right now all ties need to be cut with Ndombele. Get him out the club and get him out the changing room.”

Antonio Conte has not named Ndombele in Spurs’ last two matchday squads.
He has played 16 times across all competitions this season.
In other news, Football Insider can reveal Tottenham have opened talks over part-exchange deal for £50million-rated player.
