Tottenham told to expect ‘exciting’ signings after ‘Paratici talks’ – expert

Tottenham expect “exciting” signings to arrive this summer after conversations between Ange Postecoglou, Daniel Levi and Fabio Paratici.

Despite a ban from European football, Paratici continues to work for Tottenham on a consultancy basis and has a key role in transfer negotiations and operations.

Speaking on Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, former Spurs goalkeeper Paul Robinson, who is well connected at his old club, explained that Paratici’s involvement will be a “big” boost for Tottenham.

The former Spurs goalkeeper shared that, looking at the likes of Dejan Kulusevski, Rodrigo Bentancur, Micky van de Ven and Guglielmo Vicario, fans can have trust in the recruitment.

Tottenham want to sign “exciting” new players

Football Insider previously reported that Spurs should beat West Ham to the signing of Ivan Toney, who could kickstart the exciting arrivals in North London.

Robinson, meanwhile, detailed that any players who arrive at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer will improve the current squad.

Ange has got enough of a relationship now with the supporters and the trust is there“, he told Football Insider.

I think the big thing for Tottenham is that Paratici is involved still.

We know that he’s got the suspension in European football, but the relationship he has got with the club and the way that he is with Daniel Levy, working in whatever capacity he is allowed to.

Look at the players in recent history that Spurs have brought in. They’ve only made the team and the squad better.

Kulusevski and Bentancur in the winter window, then you look at Vicario and Van de Ven. Look at those types of signings and the players Ange is going to want.

The conversations that Ange has had with Paratici and with Daniel Levy, you would expect the type of players that come into the Tottenham side to be exciting ones.”
