Tottenham transfer news: Five senior stars set to leave this summer

Tottenham are set for a major rebuild this summer, with plenty of movement expected in terms of incomings and outgoings.

Ange Postecoglou’s side are currently chasing Champions League football, but the manager will already have an eye on the transfer window.

Football Insider has spoken to senior sources and analyses five senior stars who are likely to exit the north London club this summer.

Tanguy Ndombele (27)

Currently on loan at Galatasaray, midfield man Ndombele is a far cry away from the player that Spurs broke their transfer record to sign from Lyon in 2019.

In a double blow for the 27-year-old, sources have told Football Insider that the Turkish club do not want to make his loan deal permanent, with his parent club planning to move him on this summer.

We are told that Ndombele is not expected to wear the Spurs jersey again despite having a contract running until the summer of 2025.

Giovani Lo Celso (28)

Fellow midfielder Lo Celso is another who looks set to depart at the end of the season, with sources telling Football Insider that Spurs expect to receive multiple offers for him in the upcoming window.

The 28-year-old has struggled to break into the team under Postecoglou lately, and has largely failed to impress when given the chance.

Bryan Gil (23)

Another senior Spurs man who has underwhelmed in recent times is Spanish winger Gil, with Postecoglou again not giving the player many chances to shine in white.

But that stance is understandable, with the 23-year-old yet to score from 42 appearances for the club, and sources are not telling Football Insider that Spurs will listen to offers for him this summer.

For the right price, and there is not believed to be a huge sum on his head, Gil will most likely to depart permanently.

Sergio Reguilon (27)

Reguilon is currently plying his trade away from north London, but the 27-year-old isn’t too far away, with the left-back impressing on loan at Brentford.

Given that this is his second loan spell this season, having previously spent time at Man United, a Spurs return come the end of the season is looking increasingly unlikely, with sources telling Football Insider that the defender could be moved on in order to free up space for incomings.

Joe Rodon (26)

Another loan defender who is impressing away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is centre-back Rodon, who has been a regular under Daniel Farke at Leeds United.

The Wales international, 26, is doing his utmost to help the Whites return to the Premier League, and Football Insider understands that Spurs are willing to sanction a permanent move this summer.
