Tottenham v Leeds: Expert names three Spurs stars ‘certain’ to start after ‘big news’ today
Antonio Conte has to name his strongest side if Tottenham are to take any points away from Elland Road.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Tottenham travel to Leeds United on Saturday (26 February) looking for a return to winning ways after Wednesday’s (23 February) shock loss to Burnley.
On Friday (25 February), Evening Standard’s Dan Kilpatrick reported Rodrigo Bentancur, who went off injured against Burnley, could miss the next three weeks.
In any case, Wenham insists Tottenham must field their strongest side, including stars like Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son and Dejan Kulusevski, in a bid to salvage their season.
“We lost to Leeds last year because we couldn’t cope with their intensity,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“That’s something I really want us to put right this time. They have players who can cause problems.
“Dan James with his pace and Raphinha is so dangerous. We saw against Man United last week how they can play if they get Elland Road on side.
“That’s something we have to keep an eye on. The big news is there is no Phillips or Bamford.
“They are two very, very good players but even without them we need to play our strongest side if we want to get anything there.

“It’s another huge game where Conte just has to start his best players, whoever he feels they are.
“Kane, Son and Kulusevski are certain to start. Even with the upcoming fixtures in mind.”
