Rangers set for major goalkeeper upgrade as they prepare bid to sign Euro 2016 hero - report

Rangers have shortlisted four goalkeepers to replace Cammy Bell including Euro 2016 hero Michael McGovern, according to reports.
The Scottish giants announced on Tuesday that Bell had left the club by mutual consent and it was announced on Wednesday that he had agreed a transfer to Dundee United.
Rangers manager Mark Warburton is keen to sign a goalkeeper to provide competition for current number one Wes Foderingham.
As reported by Football Insider, Rangers are in talks with Scotland international Matt Gilks after he was released by Burnley.
The Scottish giants are also keeping close tabs on Southend's Daniel Bentley, Esteban Alvarado from Trabzonspor and Northern Ireland No1 McGovern.
The Sunday Post have claimed that Rangers have been impressed with the form of McGovern, who is a free agent after he left Hamilton earlier this summer.
The 31-year-old was outstanding in Northern Ireland's 1-0 defeat to Germany on Tuesday, making a string of breathtaking saves to prevent his team sliding to a far heavier loss.
Bell lost his place to Gers first choice Foderingham this season as Rangers won promotion to the top flight and then negotiated an early release from his contract after three seasons at Ibrox.
