Trent Alexander-Arnold bid must be accepted with deal ‘weeks away’ – fans rage

Liverpool fans are furious with Trent Alexander-Arnold over a lack of progress in contract talks with the club.

Alexander-Arnold, 26, is one of three key Liverpool players, alongside Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk who are out of contract in the summer.

Talks over a new deal don’t appear to be getting any further along and rumours over a potential move to European champions Real Madrid aren’t going away.

Football Insider revealed (November 1) that the Spanish giants are ‘making advances’ on the England international and a deal could be ‘weeks away’.

Real Madrid are extremely interested in the right-back, who, due to his contract situation, would be able to negotiate a potential free transfer in the summer from January 1st.

Liverpool fans fed up with Trent Alexander-Arnold contract situation

Potentially losing Alexander-Arnold either in January or the summer would be a major blow to Arne Slot with his side once again fighting for the Premier League title.

Liverpool fans are starting to get frustrated with the situation and have taken to X, formally known as Twitter, to criticise the defender.
