‘Trent Alexander-Arnold is leaving’- Liverpool fans dismayed by Carragher’s news

Liverpool fans believe that Trent Alexander-Arnold is going to leave the club after Jamie Carragher’s latest comments on the situation.

The full-back shone during Liverpool’s 2-2 draw against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday (27 October), but Carragher thinks he is leaning towards the exit door.

Alexander-Arnold told Sky Sports on 26 October that winning the Ballon d’Or is his main goal over any team trophies which set a red alert for the Liverpool legend.

After the Arsenal game, Carragher said on Sky Sports, “The first thing that comes to me when I read that interview was ‘that makes me think he is going to Real Madrid.

“I actually think Virgil Van Dijk and Mo Salah will stay, I do believe that, but the longer it goes on with Trent, the more I fear he’s going to go.”

The 26-year-old’s deal at Anfield expires after this summer, and Football Insider revealed that he’s not expected to sign an extension with his home club.

Liverpool fans have conceded that Trent Alexander-Arnold will leave next summer

Football Insider revealed there is a “very strong possibility” that the England international will be heading to Real Madrid next season, and Carragher feels that will give him a better chance of winning the Ballon d’Or.

The Reds legend conceding to the possibility of the right-back departing the club has led to fans doing the same, but some have claimed it would make him a “scum bag.”
