Trent Alexander-Arnold sends cryptic message amid Liverpool uncertainty
Trenth Alexander-Arnold is still yet to issue confirmation on his future plans beyond the end of this season with Liverpool.
The right-back has spent his entire senior career with his boyhood club, and has been an integral part of their starting XI for several years now.
In recent months though, expectation has grown hugely that Alexander-Arnold will leave Liverpool to join Real Madrid on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of this season.
However, that is yet to be officially confirmed, which has led to further questions about the England international, given the Reds’ success this season, and the struggles the Spanish champions are enduring.
There have even been some suggestions that Alexander-Arnold could reconsider and elect to stay with Liverpool beyond this summer by putting pen to paper on a new contract with the club.
Now some fans may feel that the 26-year-old has just dropped a hint on his future with his latest social media post.

Trent Alexander-Arnold posts training ground image
On Sunday (27 April), a 5-1 thrashing of Tottenham ensured Liverpool officially confirmed their status as Premier League champions for this season.
Inevitably that has led to some considerable celebrations around the club, as they commemorate their 2nd Premier League title, and 20th top-flight title overall.

As a result, the front of the club’s Melwood training ground has now had the words “Premier League Champions” emblazoned across the front of the entrance.
Alexander-Arnold is clearly keen to show that off, with the Liverpool right-back taking to his Instagram story on Wednesday (30 April) to simply post a picture of the front of the centre with that new inscription.

Liverpool fans to wonder over Instagram post
Football Insider Verdict
It would be a surprise if supporters of the club have not been left wondering if this is a hint from the England international about his future.
The fact Alexander-Arnold posted this in such a way appears to show the pride he has in the success that Liverpool have achieved with this Premier League title.
If he does indeed feel that strongly, they may be left with some hope that the right-back could yet sign a contract extension at Anfield.
Considering both his quality on the pitch and connection to the club as a boyhood fan, it would be a major boost for Liverpool if such a deal was to happen.
