Senior duo axed, fan favourite returns: Celtic expected XI v Ross County
MIDFIELD
James Forrest (Left-wing) – Has went slightly off the boil in the last few weeks, but is expected to keep his place in the team as on his day he can cause the opposition plenty of problems
Scott Brown (Central-midfield) – The Hoops skipper will benefit from his lack of international football after his recent retirement, will be expected to dominate the midfield as usual
Olivier Ntcham (Central-midfield) – Expected to keep his place in the Hoops team despite fading in the second-half against Motherwell, his recent performances in the main have been excellent though
Stuart Armstrong (Attacking-midfield) – Expected to replace Callum McGregor, the 25-year-old showed enough in his cameo against Motherwell to show that he is expected to start against the Dingwall side meaning senior player McGregor may be axed.
Patrick Roberts (Right-wing) – The fan favourite is expected to return and replace senior star Tom Rogic. The 21-year-old was excellent against Motherwell and his speed and trickery can add a dimension that the Hoops have lacked at times this season
