Attacker axed in two changes from Old Firm win: Celtic expected XI v Motherwell

GOALKEEPER AND DEFENCE

Scott Bain (Goalkeeper) – Expected to keep his place in the side after making some great saves in the win at Ibrox, he already looks more at ease in one game than Dorus de Vries has in all his games for the Hoops

Mikael Lustig (Right-back) – Expected to replace the suspended Jozo SImunovic, missed the win at Ibrox through suspension but is likely to come back into the side as the Hoops revert to four at the back

Dedryck Boyata (Centre-back) – Expected to keep his place in the team despite a poor performance against Rangers, Brendan Rodgers is a big fan of the player though and may well keep him in the team

Kristoffer Ajer (Centre-back) – The 19-year-old was the Hoops’ best defender in the win at Ibrox, and he might well be a mainstay of the side for years to come if he continues to play the way he currently is

Kieran Tierney (Left-back) – Expected to return to a more defensive role against Motherwell, the 20-year-old was full of running and energy against Rangers even though he could have done better at the Gers’ second goal
