Rangers expected 4-3-3 v Dundee: Attacker axed in two changes

By Danny Wright

Caretaker manager Graeme Murty is expected to make just two changes to his side to face Dundee in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.

The Gers travel to Dens Park still without a permanent manager, however Murty got himself off to a winning start after taking over from Mark Warburton, beating Greenock Morton 2-1 last week.

He is expected to make two changes from the side that progressed in the Scottish Cup.

Martyn Waghorn is expected to keep his place in the side after his goal against Morton sealed the 2-1 victory. He came into the side on that day in place of Joe Garner and Murty is expected to keep him on the right wing.

Harry Forrester is expected to come back into the side on the left in place of attacker Barrie McKay who was ineffective last time out. Kenny Miller is set to resume his duties up top.

Jon Toral is also set to return to the starting line-up after he was left out of the starting 11 for the win last week. He will replace Andy Halliday who came in for the Spaniard for the cup-tie.

Emerson Hyndman and Jason Holt will make up the midfield.

The Light Blues will keep the same defensive line as Rob Kiernan misses out again due to an incident with a group of fans.

He and James Tavernier are also just one more booking away for a suspension, something Murty may keep in mind when he picks his side for Sunday.
