Attacker axed in Rodgers 4-5-1: Celtic best possible XI v Motherwell
GOALKEEPER AND DEFENCE
Scott Bain (Goalkeeper) – Should keep his place in the side despite the return of Craig Gordon, Bain has done well enough for the Bhoys to keep his place in the team for the biggest game of his career.
Mikael Lustig (Right-back) – Should start the game as he has returned to form in the last few weeks and looks similar to the player he used to be before injury seemed to catch up with him.
Dedryck Boyata (Centre-back) – Should keep his place in the side as he has played well in the last month and if he cuts out his mistakes on the day he should be on the winning side at Hampden Park.
Kristoffer Ajer (Centre-back) – Should keep his partnership with Dedryck Boyata going as manager Brendan Rodgers has faith in the duo, who on their day are as solid as it gets at the back.
Kieran Tierney (Left-back) – Another big game for the 20-year-old who should be a key man for the Bhoys in both defence and attack, no doubt the speculation about his future will continue.
