‘Unforgivable’ – Celtic fans tear into attacker for blunder v Rangers
Celtic fans have taken to social media to tear into attacker Scott Sinclair for his inept performance in the 0-0 draw with Rangers at Parkhead on Saturday.
The 28-year-old had a horrendous blunder when he missed a glorious chance at the end of the first-half to give the Hoops the lead against Rangers in the Old Firm derby.
With the goal at his mercy, he sidefooted the ball past the post when it seemed easier to score.
The Englishman, who has been criticised at times for his performances this season wasn’t let off the hook for the miss, with one supporter claiming it was ‘unforgivable’.
Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to the Sinclair miss:
As for the game itself, poor defending by Lustig and Boyata gave Rangers the first chance of the game but Gordon saved Morelos’ effort.
Celtic then began to dominate the match, and Wes Foderingham made some great saves to deny James Forrest then Scott Sinclair.
Rangers were arguably the better team in the second-half and it took two superb saves from Craig Gordon to keep the score at 0-0.
Morelos then missed a great chance, putting a free header wide when it looked easier to score.
The game ended 0-0, which was the fair result as Celtic dominated the first-half and Rangers dominated the second-half.
The result keeps the Hoops 11 points clear of the Gers in the Scottish Premiership table.
