Unlucky Brendan, you’re nowhere near No 1 in five greatest ever Celtic managers
4. BILLY McNEILL
Celtic’s greatest ever captain had two spells in charge of his beloved Hoops, winning a host of trophies.
Won three league titles in his first spell at the club but eventually left under a cloud after falling out with the Parkhead board.
Returned in 1987 to take on a rampant Rangers under Graeme Souness and unexpectedly delivered the league and cup double in his first season back at the club.
Eventually left in 1991 but will go down in history as one of the greats as both player and manager that the Hoops have ever had in their history.
