'Unreal', 'Just gets worse' – Celtic fans shocked by yet another injury blow

Celtic fans have taken to social media to express their dismay with the news that new singing Marvin Compper is ruled out for up to a month with a calf injury.
The 32-year-old new arrival from Leipzig was expected to make his debut against Brechin City in the Scottish Cup on Saturday, but now supporters will have to wait for his first appearance in the Hoops after suffering the injury in training.

Fans hope that news of the injury will lead to the Hoops signing another centre-half, with one claiming that there are ‘no excuses’ for not signing a replacement.
Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to Compper’s injury:

The injury to Compper means that Brendan Rodgers will have to continue with the centre-back partnership of Dedryck Boyata and Kristoffer Ajer, who have successfully helped the Hoops to a run of five clean sheets in a row.
There could also be a reprieve for the out-of-favour Jozo Simunovic, who was dropped from the Hoops starting line-up after the 4-0 loss to Hearts in December.
Compper’s setback is also yet another injury blow for the Hoops, who already have Jonny Hayes out for the season, Patrick Roberts nearing a comeback and Stuart Armstrong recovering from surgery.
The Bhoys could also dip back into the transfer market, with reports from Turkish news agency Aksam reporting that the Celts have bid £2.5million for Besiktas defender Dusko Tosic.
In other Celtic news, Kris Commons has claimed that Brendan Rodgers could spend up to £20million on a player
