View: Christiansen must start three Leeds outcasts v Port Vale, including 28-year-old leader

Rob Green

Former England international Green lost his place as Leeds’ number one on Sunday after Christiansen opted to choose German goalkeeper and new signing Felix Wiedwald in his place.

The 37-year-old was left on the bench and with his years as a professional footballer declining, he needs regular first-team football.

Christiansen must hand him a start against Port Vale, in order to show interested parties that he still possesses plenty of quality or even convince his manager that he should be the number one.
