Vladimir Coufal: Multiple clubs in race to sign West Ham star in January
West Ham star Vladimir Coufal is being tracked by overseas clubs ahead of the January transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.
The right-back, 32, is out of contract at the London Stadium at the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
He will therefore be free to speak to foreign clubs in the new year about a potential pre-contract agreement.
However, Football Insider revealed on Monday (2 December) that West Ham have decided to offer Coufal a new contract at the club rather than sell him.
That is despite Aaron Wan-Bissaka overtaking him in the pecking order under new boss Julen Lopetegui following his arrival from Man United in the off-season.
Coufal will now face a final decision on his future with the Irons keen to keep him due to his importance in the dressing room and as a valuable member of the first-team squad.
The Czechia international has played nine times across all competitions this term, starting in four of those outings.
Coufal has decision to make on West Ham future
He has played 164 times for West Ham since joining in 2020, notching 20 assists.
However, he is yet to register his first goal for the club.

Lukasz Fabianski, Aaron Cresswell, Michail Antonio and Danny Ings are also out of contract at West Ham next summer.
The Irons sit 14th in the Premier League ahead of their next top flight clash against Leicester on Tuesday (3 December).
