‘West Ham could agree £90m Mohammed Kudus deal’
West Ham could sell Mohammed Kudus to provide their transfer budget with a significant boost ahead of the summer window.
The Ghana international, who is under contract until 2028, is understood to have a release clause that will be active for the first 10 days of July.
Under the terms of the clause, the 24-year-old could join European sides for £80million, Premier League clubs for £85million and Saudi teams for £120million.
Football Insider revealed on 22 April Kudus is high on the list of Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr heading into the summer window.
Finance expert Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider West Ham could sell the winger to Saudi for around £90million, handing them a “huge” profit on the £38million they paid Ajax to sign him in 2023.
West Ham Football reported on 28 April a club source has revealed the East Londoners will breach the Premier League’s financial rules unless they sell players this summer.
Under the PSR rules, top-flight clubs are permitted to lose £105million over a rolling three-year period.
West Ham posted a record-breaking revenue last season after their turnover increased from £236.7million in 2022-23 to £269.8million, while they also managed to turn their previous £17.1million loss into a £57.2million net profit across the same period.

West Ham PSR update emerges after new reveal
Borson insisted West Ham are unlikely to be facing a PSR issue.
He told Football Insider: “It doesn’t look like they have got a PSR problem.
“They have also got this deal with Kudus, who looks like he can go to Saudi for something ridiculous like £90million, which is a huge profit for them and they’ll be completely fine.
“I think that whole PSR story is just not true.
“I don’t think they have got PSR issues.”
