West Ham could sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for less than £10m this summer – pundit
Paul Robinson suspects West Ham could sign Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for less than £10million this summer.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England number one believes the Hammers could take advantage of the 28-year-old’s contract situation.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has entered the final 12 months of his deal at Anfield.

According to the Irish Mirror (21 July), David Moyes’s side are weighing up a £10million bid for the centre-midfielder.
It comes as Jesse Lingard, another West Ham target, closes in on signing for Nottingham Forest on a free transfer.
When asked by Football Insider if Oxlade-Chamberlain was a good alternative to Lingard for £10million, Robinson said: “I think West Ham can get him for even cheaper than £10million, if I’m honest.
“When you take into account that he only has a year left on his contract, I think they can negotiate that down.
“They will be very disappointed to miss out on Jesse Lingard. I’m sure they thought they were the frontrunners. I would be surprised to see him go to Nottingham Forest.

“In regards to Oxlade-Chamberlain, the opportunity for him to go and play regularly in London, where of course he was with Arsenal, would be too good an offer to turn down for him.
“I think £10million is a lot for him considering he only has a year left on his deal. They could get him for even less.”
