West Ham expect Paqueta, Kudus and Alvarez to push for moves – sources
West Ham are expecting Mohammed Kudus, Lucas Paqueta and Edson Alvarez to push for moves away from the club this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
The Hammers were knocked out of the Europa League by Bayer Leverkusen and are unlikely to finish seventh in the Premier League, meaning their three-season run of playing in Europe is set to come to an end and that is likely to be a clincher for all three players’ futures.
A well-placed source has told Football Insider that the trio of Kudus, Paqueta and Alvarez all want to be playing in either the Champions League or Europa League next season.
Football Insider previously revealed the club are expecting offers for Alvarez and fear other key players could leave at the end of the season too.
Manchester City are expected to return with a new bid for Paqueta after failing to land the Brazilian in 2023, while Kudus is drawing interest from top Premier League clubs.
Losing any of the three would represent a blow for West Ham, especially considering both Alvarez and Kudus only arrived in East London last summer.

West Ham have been a tough opponent under David Moyes and the club’s hiearchy has made some shrewd additions in recent seasons, most notably in the form of Kudus, Paqueta and Alvarez.
The former has been the standout player in the capital, tallying 17 goal contributions in all competitions in 2023-24.
Speedy Ghanian winger Kudus and Alvarez – a 77-cap Mexico international – are both contracted until 2028, while Paqueta is tied down until 2027 at the earliest.
West Ham would obviously be reticent to lose all three of their prized assets in one fell swoop but, with uncertainty over the future of manager David Moyes, a sale could raise funds if they bring in a new boss.
