West Ham hit by ‘massive’ Europa League ‘blow’ after Kurt Zouma update – expert
West Ham hopes of winning the Europa League have been dealt a “massive blow” after a potentially season-ending injury to Kurt Zouma, according to Paul Robinson.
The former England goalkeeper, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted the 27-year-old has been a “top player” for David Moyes’ side this term.
Zouma limped off in the first half as West Ham were defeated 2-0 against Brentford last Sunday (10 April).

According to The Guardian (13 April), the France international could be out for the remainder of the season after initial scans on an ankle problem.
The report quotes Moyes, who revealed the club are “still getting Zouma checked fully”.
West Ham secured their advancement to the semi-final of the Europa League against Eintracht Frankfurt with a 4-1 aggregate win over Lyon last night (14 April).
Robinson hailed Zouma for his response to well-publicised “off-field problems”.
“It’s a massive blow for their Europa League hopes,” he told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs.
“He’s been a top player for them this year, despite his off-field problems.
“He’s shown brilliant mental strength to come back from that, and I think he’ll be a big miss for them.”
Craig Dawson and Issa Diop started last night’s clash.
They are the only two senior centre-backs available to Moyes at present.

Zouma, who is contracted until June 2025, has made 27 appearances for West Ham across all competitions this season.
The former Chelsea man cost the Irons a reported £29.8million last summer (2021).
