West Ham player ratings in clash v Everton: Attacking star woeful in 3/10 display

Joe Hart – 4

Perhaps the unluckiest man on the field at Goodison Park in the first half.

He saw a penalty given for his challenge on Calvert-Lewin just before the 20 minute mark, despite seemingly getting a touch on the ball prior to clattering the Everton man.

If that was not harsh enough, he pulled off a good save to deny Wayne Rooney from the spot, but it deflected right onto the former England star’s head to give the Toffees the lead.

There was little he could do for the second goal, but will be livid with his defence for allowing the opportunity for Rooney to score again.

However must take full blame for the error which allowed Wayne Rooney to leather in his hat trick strike.
