A shaky defensive display was not made any better by a lack of attacking intent from the Argentine defender, and his age is perhaps beginning to take its toll.
He looked somewhat lethargic down the right and although he tried his best, as he always does, he was second best to the Everton attack.
More should be expected of him considering his experience, but he can point fingers elsewhere for the real problems in the performance.
