By no means the most assured display from the New Zealand international, and will take as much blame as the rest of the defence for the disappointing first half performance which saw them go into half time 2-0 down.
Should have perhaps handled the situation which led to Wayne Rooney’s third goal better, but put Joe Hart in the situation he felt he had to rush out and clear the ball.
Meant to be a leader at the back but it was not a display which inspired confidence to his team mates or the supporters, and hurt himself with a tackle late one.
