West Ham player ratings in clash v Everton: Attacking star woeful in 3/10 display

Aaron Cresswell – 5

Was caught out on the flank for Everton’s second goal, when he really should have been preventing the cross coming in, and will have had some stern words in his ear at half time from manager Moyes.

He was bitterly unlucky not to see him grab the goal which would have halved the deficit just after half time, striking a vicious hit toward the goal, only to see his effort cannon back off the crossbar, but was perhaps guilty of putting too much power into the shot when he could have placed it past Jordan Pickford.

He was still caught out defensively and that is something which has to change, as David Moyes cannot allow for liabilities at the back.
