It was not the midfielder’s night and he looked a complete passenger against the Toffees.
He struggled to have any impact, play seemed to bypass him and it was clear that there would have to be changes made to ensure he was able to have more of an impact after the half time break.
Unfortunately for him manager Moyes had other ideas on how to change his side’s fortunes, bringing Obiang off at half time with Diafra Sakho taking his place.
