West Ham player ratings v Stoke: Worldie from Lanzini but 25-year-old disappoints

Forwards

Marko Arnautavic (Striker) – 8: Could have easily had a hat-trick today against his former club. Bagged his goal late on for a deserved early bath to get some rest.

Michail Antonio (Striker) – 8: Held the ball up very well and absolutely ran his socks off. PLaying in an unnatural position the Englishman showed why he earned a call up last year.

Substitutes

Declan Rice (Centre mid, for Mark Noble, 35 mins) – 7: Coming on for the injured Noble, Rice, who is predominantly a centre half, did not look out of place. Controlled the ball well and demonstrated a variety of passes.

Diafra Sakho (Striker, for Michail Antonio, 68 mins) – 7: Not enough game time to make a true impact, but his fresh legs were more than Stoke could handle, as he found the last of West Ham’s three goals.

Chicharito (Striker, for Marko Arnautovic, 79 mins) – n/a: Fans wanted him on from the start but he got ten minutes without showing much.
