West Ham predicted to get ‘top dollar’ for Jarrod Bowen after update – pundit

West Ham will receive “top dollar” if Jarrod Bowen leaves the club this summer.

That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about Bowen’s future.

The Daily Mail reported (16 May), West Ham want to reward the winger with a bumper deal for his success.

Bowen, 25, has been one of the Premier League’s standout players this season and scored a brace as his side drew 2-2 with Man City on Sunday (15 May).

These were his 11th and 12th league goals of the season with the winger also bagging 12 assists in the top flight this term.

Kenny insists the Hammers should be offering their star man the best possible terms while in talks over a new deal.

“West Ham will be doing everything to tie him down, that’s obvious,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“One, just to keep him there and they will hope he stays. Two, it means they can get absolutely top dollar for him if someone wants to sign him.

“You can bet teams will be looking to get him in this summer because he has been sensational this season.

“Maybe he doesn’t get the credit because he plays for West Ham but he has been absolutely brilliant.

“Signing him down to a new deal would be brilliant for everyone involved and it is more than well deserved.

“Let’s hope they can get something announced.”
