‘Get rid’, ‘Get out’ – West Ham fans react on Twitter to reported blazing row between Bilic and player
By Russell Edge
West Ham fans on Twitter have mostly sided with manager Slavan Bilic amid reports he had a blazing row with Diafra Sakho.
The Sun claim Sakho refused to sit on the bench against Sunderland on Saturday for the third game running, believing he was fit enough for a role in the starting eleven.
It is said Bilic refused to bend to the will of the Senegal striker and stood firm on his decision, with Sakho refusing to travel with the team to the north-east in a match that finished 2-2.
The altercation between Bilic and Sakho, who has been at the club since 2014, has put the player’s future at London Stadium in doubt.
West Ham fans have been left with mixed feelings about the incident, with supporters placing the blame on both parties.
However, there were some strong comments about the club’s need to dispense with the services of the injury-prone player.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Sakho has suffered with a chronic back injury this season, which has limited him to just three appearances for the Hammers during the campaign.
The club are next in action when they face Everton in the Premier League on Saturday.
