West Ham ‘respond to Everton bid for Tomas Soucek’
West Ham United have rejected a bid from Premier League rivals Everton for Czechia international midfielder Tomas Soucek.
The 30-year-old featured as West Ham were thrashed 5-1 by Chelsea at the London Stadium on Friday, 22 August.
Graham Potter’s men have started the new Premier League season poorly, conceding eight goals in just two games.
Meanwhile, Soucek was a key man for the East Londoners throughout more successful times under former boss David Moyes, now of Everton.

The Hammers have already lost former stalwarts like Michail Antonio, Vladimir Coufal, and Aaron Creswell this summer, so parting company with the 30-year-old would be damaging.
