Weston McKennie to Leeds United: Juventus star clears out locker as medical booked – Sources
Weston McKennie has cleared out his locker at Juventus and told friends he is heading to Leeds United, sources have told Football Insider.
The US midfielder, 24, is closing in on a move to Elland Road after agreeing personal terms with the club.
Juventus and Leeds have been locked in talks over the structure of the fee and potential add-ons.

United increased their bid on Thursday to £24.6million plus add-ons that could lift the total package closer to Juve’s £30.7m asking price.
Leeds are increasingly confident a full agreement can be secured and the deal will be completed this weekend.
United’s medical team are on standby for tests that could take place over the next 24 hours once they get the green light from club officials.
McKennie has been linked with a Premier League move over the last couple of years after making an impact in Italy with Juventus.
He has registered 13 goals and five assists in almost 100 games for the Old Lady since joining from Bundesliga side Schalke in 2020.
The Texas-born star, who is currently out of contract in June 2025, has made 21 appearances this term – notching five goal contributions.
On the international stage, McKennie has built a formidable partnership with current Leeds United star Tyler Adams.
The pair started every game together at the World Cup and turned in an impressive performance as the US held England to a 0-0 draw in the group stage.
28-cap US star Brenden Aaronson is another Leeds United ace who will be no stranger to McKennie’s talents.

Leeds United, managed by American Jesse Marsch, sit 15th in the Premier League ahead of their next top-flight game against Nottingham Forest on 5 Feburary.
The Whites face Accrington Stanley in FA Cup action on Saturday (28 January).
