When Nick Woltemade could make Newcastle United debut as £64m deal nears
Nick Woltemade developments have emerged which has set a time line for his expected debut at Newcastle.
Newcastle have agreed a £64million deal for Woltemade from Stuttgart to end their long search for a striker.
Callum Wilson left at the expiry of his contract whilst Alexander Isak has refused to play for Newcastle this season as Liverpool attempt to sign the 25-year-old having already had a bid rejected.
Anthony Gordon has been forced up-front in the first two Premier League fixtures of the season, but his red card against Liverpool has depleted Eddie Howe’s options further ahead of their trip to Leeds.

Newcastle fans will have to wait weeks to see Woltemade in action due to the September international break.
The 23-year-old could therefore make his debut at St James’ Park against Wolves on September 13th just days before Newcastle’s Champions League campaign begins.

Osula looks certain to earn his chance and the 22-year-old needs to kick start his Newcastle career after scoring only his second Premier League goal against Liverpool.
With Joelinton, and possibly Sandro Tonali missing in midfield, a full debut could be handed to Jacob Ramsey after his cameo appearance against Liverpool.
Following the Leeds match the transfer window will shut on Monday, to much relief for Newcastle and possible the end of the Isak saga and a chance to move forward with their new number nine.
