Wijnaldum would be ‘great’ Arsenal signing after ‘huge’ Sky update – pundit
Georginio Wijnaldum would do a “great job” if he signed for Arsenal, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker admitted that Arsenal’s lack of European football may put Wijnaldum off joining.
Sky Sports reported on Wednesday of last week (8 December) the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder is open to a return to the Premier League with the Emirates a potential destination.

As quoted by football.london last Friday (10 December), Mikel Arteta refused to rule out a move for Wijnaldum.
He has not had the best start to life in the French capital and recently revealed he was “not happy” at his new club.
The 31-year-old told Dutch outlet NOS earlier this year (11 October) the situation at PSG was “not what I wanted”.
He has played 21 times across all competitions but has managed just eight Ligue 1 starts.
Asked for his verdict on a potential north London switch for the Netherlands international, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “What a player. He would do a great job for Arsenal and be a huge signing.
“But he’s left Liverpool, who were in the Champions League, he’s gone to PSG who are in the Champions League.
“Does he want to go play for a team that are not in Europe? That’s the big thing and could put him off, to be honest.”

Wijnaldum, who won the Premier League and Champions League with Liverpool, has 217 Premier League appearances to his name.
He made 179 of those with the Reds after spending a season with Newcastle United.
