Wilfried Nancy bizarrely listed in running to get Premier League manager’s job after sack latest
Wilfried Nancy is no doubt one of the worst managers in Celtic’s history.
The Frenchman oversaw a dire eight-match spell at the Hoops, during which he lost five of his matches, including the Premier Sports Cup final to St Mirren.
As a result, Nancy was unsurprisingly sacked at Celtic in January, as he left the Hoops in a crisis.
With Martin O’Neill quickly turning things around at Celtic Park, it would be hard to imagine that the former MLS boss will have a job in Europe anytime soon.
However, Nancy has now been oddly tipped to be an outsider to take over at Crystal Palace amid their ongoing crisis with Oliver Glasner.

Wilfried Nancy outsider for Crystal Palace job
Glasner is the heavy favourite to be sacked next in the Premier League.
The manager has had a public fallout with the board, and was quick to criticise how he has been backed in the wake of their defeat to Sunderland on the weekend.
As a result, the bookies have begun to take odds on who could take over if the trigger were to be pulled on Glasner’s time at Selhurst Park.
Yet, one surprising name on the list is Nancy, despite his awful time at Celtic.
However, despite the bookies taking odds on the manager, his arrival is deemed as extremely unlikely at 100/1.
Who is the current favourite to take over at Crystal Palace?
Currently, Gareth Southgate is the favourite to take over at Palace according to one bookmaker.
The former England manager is 6/1 to come in, alongside Steve Cooper, as he searches for his first job since the Three Lions.
After this, Jose Bordalas is next at 8/1 with Kieran McKenna also at the same odds.
Thomas Frank is also in the running for the Palace job, despite still being the Tottenham manager.
The Dane is under immense pressure after the 2-1 defeat to West Ham on the weekend. However, the manager is also 8/1 to come in at Selhurst Park.

A potential outsider is Gary O’Neil at 12/1. The former Bournemouth and Wolves manager has only just joined Strasbourg after he took over from Liam Rosenior
However, the Englishman has continued to be linked to jobs in the Premier League as he looks to rebuild his reputation.
