Harry Winks has taken to Twitter to give his support to his Tottenham teammates as they prepare for the visit of Manchester United on Sunday.

Spurs will be playing the final game at White Hart Lane as demolition work takes place to pave way for the new state-of-the-art stadium.

It’s bound to be an emotional occasion for all associated with Tottenham and Winks, who is currently sidelined through injury, has issued a good luck message to the squad ahead of the match.

“Good luck to the boys today on the final game at the lane,” said the 21-year-old on his personal Twitter account on Sunday.

Spurs can secure their runners-up status if they get a win against Europa League finalists Man United.

Jose Mourinho’s men booked their spot in the final against Ajax later this month with a narrow aggregate win against Celta Viga just three days before their final visit to White Hart Lane.

Manchester City beat Leicester 2-1 on Saturday to keep up the pressure on Spurs, who now have no chance at winning a maiden Premier League title following Chelsea’s win at West Brom on Friday night.

Winks was a big part of Pochettino’s squad up until his injury in early April.

The central midfielder made 33 appearances in all competitions for Spurs, scoring once in the win against West Ham and supplying one assist.
