Wolves fans admit West Brom fan has absolutely nailed it with devastating put-down
Wolves look destined for relegation from the Premier League already this season despite only 13 games being played so far.
Wolves slipped to a seventh straight defeat on Sunday (30 November) as high-flying Aston Villa won 1-0 on home turf in a controversy-filled encounter.
They are almost already resigned to relegation now, with no wins in any of their first 13 games and a nine-point gap to West Ham in 17th as they prop up the Premier League table.
Rob Edwards is now in charge of the Molineux outfit after Vitor Pereira was sacked as boss last month, but he has not been able to put an end to their poor performances as yet.
Wolves have not been in the second-tier since winning the title in 2018, but a return now looks to be on the cards, and their arch-rivals West Brom will be relishing their demise.

West Brom fans will be pleased at Wolves’ current downfall due to their fierce rivalry
West Brom and Wolves have enjoyed a long-standing rivalry as the two biggest clubs in the Black Country area of the West Midlands.
They last met in January 2024 as Wolves emerged 2-0 winners in an FA Cup clash, but have not played each other in a league game since 2021, or in front of fans in league action since 2012, when Albion won 5-1 at Molineux under Roy Hodgson.
The Baggies have not had a great 2025-26 campaign themselves so far, with new boss Ryan Mason under pressure at The Hawthorns as they currently sit 12th in the second-tier with two wins in their last eight games.
That has obviously not stopped their supporters revelling in Wolves’ downfall this season as they prepare to likely join them in the Championship next season, with one West Brom fan’s recent X post going viral as he said: “Almost Christmas and Wolves still have less [sic] points than a triangle.”
Wolves fans unable to argue with fair assessment of their dismal campaign
Wolves have only accrued two points this season, but they are looking to finally seal a league win when they face Nottingham Forest at home on Wednesday (3 December).
Many fans of the Molineux club saw the humour in the aforementioned post, however, with one replying: “Can’t even give you an angry rage bait response to this” with a laughing emoji.
Another replied: “Fair play that’s pretty funny,” while one added: “Can’t even get mad at this” with a clapping emoji.
One Wolves supporter looked to the future, saying: “Not gonna lie that made me laugh. The quality in the BCD (Black Country Derby) next season is gonna be dire.”
