Wolves in hunt to sign £12.5m Tottenham ace, Thomas Frank says he has ‘great career ahead of him’
Antonin Kinsky is wanted by numerous Premier League football clubs this January as he continues to struggle for game time under Thomas Frank.
Kinsky signed for Tottenham for £12.5million last January, joining from Slavia Prague.
However, despite the potential the 22-year-old has, appearances have been tough to come by this season, with the youngster only making two in all competitions to date.
While Kinsky has been previously criticised for his performances at Spurs, he may now be in line for a move to another Premier League club, with Wolves lurking.

Wolves and West Ham eye loan deal for Antonin Kinsky
According to Football London on 12 January, both Wolves and West Ham are eyeing a loan deal for Kinsky.
Wolves have been linked to numerous goalkeepers throughout the first half of the campaign, with Jose Sa and Sam Johnstone both proving to be inconsistent between the sticks.
On top of this, French side Auxerre, Turkish giants Besiktas and Bundesliga outfit Freiburg are also reportedly in the race, amid fears that Kinsky won’t play again this season after Spurs’ FA Cup exit.
Auxerre have even enquired about a potential deal, while Wolves’ interest has reportedly cooled in recent weeks.

Nevertheless, Spurs remain reluctant to weaken their goalkeeper set-up mid-season.
Thomas Frank believes Kinsky has big future
Despite Frank giving Kinsky few minutes to develop this season, he clearly believes he has a big future at Spurs.
Back in August, Frank stated that the goalkeeper had a “great career ahead of him this season at Tottenham,” despite rarely playing since.
- Kinsky arrived at Tottenham in the second half of the 2024-25 campaign and made 10 appearances in all competitions
- The goalkeeper was awarded a Europa League medal at the end of the season despite not being included in the squad
- Under Frank, Kinsky has struggled for minutes
It remains to be seen if Kinsky pushes for a loan move away this January, especially with the keeper having the potential to get into the Czech Republic’s squad as they look to reach the World Cup this summer.
Nevertheless, for now, the 22-year-old will likely remain of Spurs’ bench for the foreseeable future if Tottenham are unwilling to part with their goalkeeper this January.
