Wolves news: Medical expert suggests Ruben Neves return date as ‘new info’ emerges
Ruben Neves could make his Wolves comeback in “game week 35” against Brighton on 30 April.
That is the view of injury expert Ben Dinnery, who runs the Premier Injuries site and has a background in medicine and data analysis.
Neves, 25, has been out of action since he sustained a medial collateral ligament (MCL) injury in the 3-2 defeat to Leeds United on 18 March.

As quoted by club media last Thursday (7 April), Bruno Lage revealed that the Portuguese midfielder’s setback is “not as serious as we expected.”
Neves spent the March international break in his homeland where he visited a specialist regarding his knee injury.
And the “new info” supplied by Lage would suggest he is still on course to return before the end of the season, claims Dinnery.
“My understanding initially hasn’t changed a great deal even with this new info,” he told Football Insider‘s Adam Williams.
“We’re talking about an MCL here. The indication that it was a grade two.
“I was working on the premise that we could maybe see a return around early to mid-May. I am still fairly hopeful that is the case.
“It happened against Leeds. He tried to continue but he couldn’t. He then went out to Portugal for some rehab and recovery.
“The target was always going to be around game week 35. I think there is a strong possibility that he’ll play again this season somewhere around there.”

Neves has scored four times and supplied two assists in 31 appearances for Wolves this season.
Lage has suggested that the Molineux favourite is worth £100million, as quoted by BBC Sport last Thursday (7 April).
