Wolverhampton Wanderers fans were thrilled to find out that both Torino and Sassuolo are interested in signing flop Jackson Tchatchoua this summer.

Reports emerged on Wednesday that both Italian sides were eyeing the 24-year-old right-back ahead of a potential move.

The Cameroon international only signed from Wolves last summer from Hellas Verona and became an instant first-teamer.

However, many of his performances were dreadful, as the club were relegated from the Premier League.

With much of the fanbase unimpressed with Tchatchoua’s quality, many were extremely pleased to see that he could now depart before the transfer window closes next month.

Tchatchoua is no longer expected to be Wolves’ starting right-back this season after Kieran Trippier was signed by the club on a free transfer.

Wolves fans want Jackson Tchatchoua out of the club

Damiano Er Faina’s report that Tchatchoua is attracting interest in the Serie A has caused celebration among much of the Molineux faithful.

Many have deemed the defender to be one of Wolves’ worst-ever signings as he proved to be an insufficient replacement for former captain Nelson Semedo.

Tchatchoua was at fault for many goals last season, which saw him dropped from the starting XI multiple times.

As a result, when news hit social media that the defender could soon be on his way out of the club, many supporters took to X to celebrate the news as they hope that a deal goes through.

Who are Wolves looking to sign this summer?

Despite supporters hoping for a complete squad rebuild this summer, this has not happened yet.

With Wolves’ campaign set to begin on Friday, only three new faces have come through the door.

The Old Gold club have reportedly enquired about the 26-year-old midfielder’s availability this summer as they seek a replacement for Joao Gomes, who moved to Aston Villa.

The Portuguese club values Holsgrove at around £3million, with clubs such as Charlton Athletic, Hamburg, Werder Bremen, and FC Augsburg also linked.

However, it remains to be seen if Wolves choose to do any more business this summer as they look to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
