Ian Wright reveals senior Arsenal man ‘will probably leave’ in the summer (not Wenger, Sanchez or Ozil)

Ian Wright has revealed there are “massive problems” at Arsenal and has claimed that transfer chief Dick Law could leave at the end of the season.

Speaking on BT Sport, as quoted by BT Sport Football’s official Twitter account, Arsenal icon Wright revealed that he is hearing – and hoping – that Law will leave in the near future.

He then used Luis Suarez’s move to Barcelona as an example as Arsenal’s poor recruitment recently, while also claiming that Law missed a plane when trying to sign Mesut Ozil.

“There is so much more to be done. I’m hearing that Dick Law is probably going to leave at the end of the season and rightly so,” Wright said.

“He was the one with Luis Suarez, and he was the one that when we went to sign Mesut Ozil, he missed the plane for christ’s sake. This is someone who is trying bring in recruitment.

“That is the incompetence we are dealing with. How can £40million and a pound for Suarez who went to Barcelona for £75million and improve them; how does that get through the different levels of management?

“There are massive problems at Arsenal at the moment.”

The Telegraph claimed earlier this year that transfer guru Law could leave the Gunners, if Wenger leaves, with a decision on the Frenchman’s future still yet to be made.

Arsenal have been in dismal form this season under manager Arsene Wenger, as they sit in a lowly sixth and in danger of finishing outside the top four for the first time since 1995-96.

Their decline was highlighted last time out against north London rivals Tottenham, as Spurs coasted past the Gunners with a 2-0 win at White Hart Lane that could have been a lot more.

Arsenal are next in action against Man United on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium, as they look to go one better than the 1-1 draw back in November.

In other Arsenal news, this out-of-favour ace is set to leave in the summer according to a report.
