‘Yes’ – Nicolas Jackson responds to Tosin Adarabioyo’s Chelsea message

Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo is still celebrating Chelsea’s Club World Cup win in a message on social media.

The Chelsea squad continues to bask in the glory of last season, which ended on a high with a Club World Cup triumph over PSG.

It capped off a memorable campaign under Enzo Maresca, with Chelsea also lifting the Conference League and securing a return to the Champions League.

Adarabioyo played a key role throughout the season and despite not always a regular starter, he stepped up whenever called upon, particularly during periods of injury within the squad.

The centre-back posted a heartfelt message which earned plenty of reactions from teammates, as the squad celebrated what seems to be a turning point for the club under new management.

Chelsea stars react as Adarabioyo celebrates trophy-filled season

Even though Adarabioyo was an unused substitute in the Club World Cup final, he continued his celebrations by sharing multiple photos of himself lifting the trophy.

He simply captioned the post: “Alhamdulillah (Praise to God).”

The message received plenty of love from his Chelsea teammates, with Reece James commenting: “Yessir” and Joao Pedro responding with heart emojis.

Nicolas Jackson, who has been linked with a move away from Chelsea this summer, also liked the post amid ongoing speculation about his future.

Adarabioyo joined Chelsea last summer after leaving Fulham on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract.

Since then, he has become a dependable presence in Maresca’s squad, stepping in with calm and composed performances whenever needed. He made 41 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring five goals from defence.

As reported by Football Insider, Chelsea rejected interest from West Ham in Adarabioyo in the January window, choosing to keep him at the club—a decision that has paid off given his consistency and impact across the campaign.

While Jackson showed support for his teammate on social media, the two may not be playing together for much longer.

Football Insider revealed that Aston Villa are preparing to make a move for Jackson this summer, as the forward continues to weigh up his future at Stamford Bridge.

Reports have previously claimed that Jackson is unhappy with his role at Chelsea, particularly following the arrivals of Liam Delap and Pedro, which could further limit his playing time.

Unai Emery is said to be a keen admirer of the striker, having previously worked with him during their time at Villarreal. Villa are now exploring the possibility of a reunion, although it remains to be seen whether they will submit a formal offer substantial enough to tempt Chelsea into a sale.
