Yoane Wissa: 0% and 0.59 stats show why star is destined for Newcastle summer exit
Yoane Wissa has had a terrible time at Newcastle United since his move to the club in the summer transfer window, and this continued in the 3-1 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion.
The striker came off the bench and looked to get the goal that would seal the victory.
Instead, the 29-year-old missed multiple golden opportunities and even picked up a yellow card.
In fact, it may have been his worst performance yet, with his lack of a clinical finish almost costing them the win.
Now, Newcastle may have no choice but to sell Wissa as concerns continue to grow.

Wissa’s struggles have been well-documented this season.
While he had suffered a long-term injury, since his return, he has offered little.

To date, he has only scored once in the Premier League this season, and this tally looks unlikely to be improved upon anytime soon.
According to Fotmob on 2 May, against Brighton, Wissa fail to convert from a 0.59 xG, did not complete a single pass, missed the target with every shot, missed one big chance, failed to complete a single successful dribble on top of his yellow card.

These stats are simply abysmal, and are not acceptable at any club in the Premier League, let alone one the size of Newcastle.
As a result, surely a summer departure is inevitable at St James’ Park, with the club likely desperate to make some of their money back.
How much could Newcastle get for Wissa?
Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown exclusively told Football Insider that Newcastle will have to accept a reduced price for Wissa this summer.
Just one year after his £55million move from Brentford, the Magpies are likely to get nowhere near this fee again, given his current form.
Howe is said to have lost faith in the striker, who has repeatedly failed to impress when called upon, and this clearly continued again on Saturday.
However, it remains to be seen if anyone will actually be interested in Wissa, given that he is likely on high wages, and he has clearly lost some ability since his whirlwind season at Brentford last year.
