Owner Andrea Radrizzani is likely to be urging his manager Christiansen to keep the spending to a minimum, after completing nine new signings.
The Italian owner has also repurchased the ownership rights of Elland Road, leaving him empty in pocket with Christiansen still in need of replacing the loss of Charlie Taylor.
With Kingsley potentially available on loan, Leeds would be able to bring in a player that has the quality to improve upon Taylor for nothing.
