22-year-old will leave club: Tottenham fans react on Twitter after Stoke win
By Dominic Toner
Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen was an unused substitute against Stoke – and the club’s supporters believe his time at the club is coming to an end.
The 22-year-old only moved to White Hart Lane in the summer, but he has struggled to settle at the north London club.
Spurs recorded a convincing 4-0 win over Stoke in the Premier League on Sunday, which helped them climb up to second in the table.
Harry Kane scored a first-half hat-trick to continue his goalscoring form this season, while Dele Alli netted a fourth.
Janssen was not introduced to the game despite his side winning 4-0 at the break and continues to be a bit-part player under Maurucio Pochettino.
Spurs fans are adamant that the Holland international is set to leave the club in the summer as he continues to be frozen out of the starting XI.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Janssen was purchased in the summer to provide competition for Kane in attack, but has been unable to rival the English talisman.
He has made 28 appearances for Spurs since his summer and scored four goals, with all of them coming from the penalty spot.
The striker has completed 90 minutes in just three Premier League games this season and can’t find a place in the starting XI on a regular basis.
Janssen moved to England with a fierce reputation after 32 goals in just 49 appearances for Dutch side AZ Alkmaar.
However, the forward has been unable to adapt to the speed of the Premier League and remains out-of-favour under Pochettino.
In other Tottenham news, the club’s player is miles away from being as good as Gareth Bale.
