Agbonlahor: Darwin Nunez set for extended spell out of Liverpool XI amid ‘100%’ claim
Diogo Jota is ahead of Darwin Nunez in the pecking order at Liverpool, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker claimed it may take Nunez a season to get used to the pace of the Premier League.
The 23-year-old has only started two games since his £85million move from Benfica in the summer and is yet to complete a full 90 minutes.

Jota marked his first start of the season in the 2-1 win over Ajax in the Champions League last week (13 September) with an assist.
The 25-year-old missed the beginning of the campaign with a hamstring injury that he picked up in pre-season.
Asked whether Jota is ahead of Nunez in the pecking order, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “1000 per cent.
“If you look at Liverpool’s best side, you’d say Jota, [Mohamed] Salah and [Luis] Diaz as the front three. All can interchange positions.
“Nunez hasn’t got used to the Premier League yet. I feel like he will, he just needs to keep working hard, be patient and get used to the Premier League.
“Sometimes it takes people longer than others. It’s not taken [Erling] Haaland long but Nunez might take a season to get used to it and his numbers might be low this season.
“If you’re choosing your best Liverpool side and Jurgen Klopp is, then I feel like he’s not in it.”

Jota has 44 goal contributions in 88 games across all competitions for Liverpool.
The Portugal international signed a new five-year contract at Anfield over the summer.
