Agbonlahor eviscerates Kalidou Koulibaly as Chelsea told to get rid this summer
Gabby Agbonlahor has insisted a summer exit for Kalidou Koulibaly will suit all parties with the Chelsea defender reportedly unhappy at the club.
The former Aston Villa striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed the 31-year-old has looked “very old and in pain” during his performances for the Blues this term.
According to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport (23 April), Koulibaly is already “unhappy” at Chelsea and wants to leave the club this summer.
The report claims Juventus are keen on bringing the Senegal international back to Serie A in the off-season.
Koulibaly, who earns £295,000-a-week at Stamford Bridge (as per FBRef), joined Chelsea for a reported fee of around £33million last summer (2022).
He has made 31 appearances across all competitions for the Blues – who sit 11th in the Premier League after failing to win a game in April.
Agbonlahor told Football Insider’s Ewan Kingsbury: “First of all if he’s unhappy – then how must his manager and the supporters feel?
“They’re more unhappy at him than he is at Chelsea.
“The Koulibaly they thought they were getting is not the same player they’ve brought in.
“He’s not the same player he was at Napoli.
“He’s not as quick as I thought he would be. He just looks very old and in pain when he’s playing – he doesn’t look like a top defender at all.

“I’m sure Chelsea would love to get a good offer for him. They can build that defence around Fofana, Badiashile and Thiago Silva.
“It would suit both club and player for Koulibaly to be moved on this summer.”
