Agbonlahor issues three-word verdict on Liverpool signing Jude Bellingham after source’s reveal from England camp
Jude Bellingham’s relationship with Jordan Henderson will have no impact on whether he decides to join Liverpool, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker insisted Bellingham, along with his Father and agents, will choose the best club for him.
The 19-year-old’s relationship with Henderson was on show during England’s 3-0 win over Senegal on Sunday when he provided the assist for the Liverpool captain to open the scoring.
As quoted by England’s Twitter account on Tuesday (6 December), Bellingham praised Henderson’s “incredible” performance and revealed he “loves” playing with him.
Sources from the England camp told Football Insider on Wednesday (7 December) that Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold are regularly telling their colleague he needs to move to Anfield next year.
The teenager still has over two years left on his Borussia Dortmund contract but is widely expected to leave next summer.
Asked whether his relationship with Henderson could help him decide to join Liverpool, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “Not one bit.
“Bellingham will be close to all the players in the squad from all the teams so I don’t think it really matters, to be honest.
“He will go to the best club that suits him. I’m sure his Dad will have a big say in it and his agents.
“I’m sure he will look at Liverpool, Real Madrid, Man City and whoever wants him and choose the best place for him.

“Liverpool are going to need new owners to be able to afford him. Can that be done in time for the summer?
“Real Madrid always like to sign players who have done well at World Cups.”
