
Alexander Isak sends heartfelt Newcastle message amid ‘Liverpool swap deal’ claim
Alexander Isak was in high spirits as Newcastle celebrated their historic Carabao Cup triumph with a city-wide parade.
Newcastle fans turned out in huge numbers to celebrate with their team, with around 150,000 Newcastle supporters gathering at the Town Moor on 29 March and thousands more lining the streets to mark the occasion.
The Swedish international, along with Dan Burn, wrote their names into club history as the two goalscorers in Newcastle’s first major trophy win in 70 years, sealing victory against Liverpool on 16 March.
Meanwhile, Liverpool fans have called for Jarell Quansah to be swapped with Isak, after reports suggested the Magpies were interested in the centre-back, as well as the Reds showing their own interest in the striker.
As Newcastle fans soaked in the celebrations, Isak shared a message on social media to reflect on the unforgettable moment.

Isak shared his excitement on Instagram following Newcastle’s victory parade, saying: “What a memorable day! Love you all!”
The post received widespread attention, with likes from teammates Bruno Guimaraes and Lewis Hall, as well as club legend Alan Shearer.
During the parade, Isak also shared a live update with the thousands of Newcastle supporters lining the streets, showing the immense fanfare surrounding the club.
Despite significant interest from Liverpool, Arsenal, and Barcelona, the Magpies are determined to retain their star forward. Football Insider revealed that Newcastle will offer Isak the biggest contract in their history to remain at St James’ Park
If Isak were to be sold, he would likely shatter the British transfer record, especially after a stellar season. The Swedish striker has netted 23 goals in all competitions and is currently third in the Premier League Golden Boot race, with 19 goals, trailing only Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah.

Newcastle eyeing attacking reinforcements amid Alexander Isak uncertainty
Eddie Howe’s side are already looking at potential attacking upgrades this summer, with contingency plans in place should Isak decide to leave.
Newcastle have long held an interest in Hugo Ekitike, a striker they have monitored closely in the past. Football Insider also revealed that Bryan Mbeumo is on the Newcastle’s radar, especially given he will have just 12 months left on his current contract come the summer.
