Alvaro Morata: Insider tips Tottenham to return for Juventus star after source’s reveal
Tottenham could explore signing Alvaro Morata in the summer after seeing a deadline day move fail to materialise.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
A Spurs source told Football Insider on 31 January that club managing director Fabio Paratici made a last-gasp swoop for Morata, 29, as he looks to strengthen the attack.

The Spain international knows Antonio Conte well, making 48 appearances under him while at Chelsea.
Those outings yielded 15 goals and six assists.
Wenham has suggested Tottenham could reignite interest in Morata this summer as Harry Kane remains the only senior striker at the club.
“One issue we didn’t fix in January was the striker position,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“There have been times before when Harry Kane has been injured and we have done really well.
“We reached the Champions League final without him but we have left ourselves short again.
“It’s an issue that needs to be addressed in the summer. I know Tottenham were looking at Morata in January.
“I think that would have been a good signing just for his experience of working in the Premier League and with Antonio Conte.
“We have seen Tottenham raid Juventus already so I do wonder if that is one we could look at again in the summer.
“It’s always worth asking the question and we do need another striker.”

Morata has registered eight goals and six assists in 30 appearances for Juventus this term.
He joined Juventus, the club where he spent two years between 2014 and 2016, for a second time in September 2020.
