Andre Gomes tipped to leave Everton for ‘nothing’ after source’s update – pundit
Everton will struggle to negotiate a significant fee with any club that wants to sign Andre Gomes this summer.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 28-year-old’s chances of leaving Goodison Park.
On 9 June, An Everton source told Football Insider that the club are willing to listen to offers for Gomes in the current window.

He has been told he is free to find a new club as he will not have a key role next term.
Lampard is ready to sell a number of senior stars this summer to try and raise funds for his own signings.
However, Kenny claims the Toffees will not recoup much money for Gomes.
“Sometimes you have to just cut your losses,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“If you want to thin that wage bill you have to get rid of those certain players who aren’t doing it.
“You need to start again. That’s what Everton need. They have deadwood, players who have not been playing.
“I’m sure Frank Lampard won’t want to be in the same position next season so getting rid of players like Gomes makes total sense.
“They won’t get much for them, it’ll be next to nothing, that’s the only issue here. The players haven’t been good so who wants them?
“Again, it’s cutting your losses.”

Gomes made only seven starts among 19 appearances in all competitions in the recently-completed 2021-22 campaign.
He has made 100 total appearances for the Toffees since joining them from Barcelona initially on loan in 2018.
